Functional Skills - OFQUAL approved alternative to GCSE in English or Maths which allows students 'to operate confidently, effectively and independently in life and work' (DfES). Includes tailored learning materials and assessments, support from a specialist tutor, regular feedback, and required examinations. Studied over 12 weeks. Start anytime. Pay in installments, and discounts offered if studying both English and Maths.
Also ideal as an alternative if GCSE results were not what were expected.

Access to HE Diplomas - an alternative to A Levels and other Level 3 qualifications. Fully accredited through Ascentis and regulated by QAA. They take about a year to complete. Includes tailored learning materials and assessments, support from a specialist tutor, and regular feedback on progress. There are no examinations.
Also ideal if A level results were not sufficient for University Entry.
